About Hataw PUP

Hataw PUP is a University-Wide student organization at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Manila. Serving the interests of the entire PUP community, upholding the rights and welfare of students, and supporting national, social, and youth development.

Hataw PUP was established in 2015 and is known as an organization specializing in the use of media as a medium to advocate. Hataw PUP comprises four (4) departments—Creative Department, Content, and Special Project Department, News and Information Services Department, and Social Media Department- that serve as the building block to promote integrity, leadership, and excellence.

the Rational—

in Western philosophy means acquiring knowledge through pure logical reason. Being rational means drawing sensible conclusions from facts and not based on emotions, focusing on achieving goals.

In a state where illogical thinking, biased perception, and unjustifiable demeanor exist. Hataw PUP will build a medium where rationality blooms and will disperse it to fight inhumane oppression and injustice. Promote integrity, leadership, and excellence.

"Tingog'' is a Hiligaynon word that means "voice." The name itself stands to encourage the Iskolar ng Bayan to voice out their experience, opinions, and idealization so that the PUP Community can acquire lessons, realization, and ideas.

To serve the interests of the entire PUP community, upholding the rights and welfare of students and supporting national, social, and youth development. Hataw PUP presents the Tingog Iskolar column intended for the Iskolar ng Bayan, where they can submit their blogs or articles they want to share with the PUP Community.
