The Aguhon Leadership Summit 2 is an on-site event held on July 29, 2023, at PUP COC Tanghalan ng Bayan with the theme of "Exploring the Uncertainty Towards the Avenue of Effective Leadership." The said summit was organized and executed by the BPA 1-1, BPA 2-2, and BPA 2-3 students as a prerequisite for their major course.

The summit was filled with notable speakers such as ARTA USEC Gerald Divinagracia, Mayor Benjie Magalong, Mr. Jaime Bonifacio Jr., Mr. Jess Lorenzo, and Rep. Sarah Elago. The speakers were able to present their expertise in the field of leadership, good governance, contemporary approaches, and strategic planning. Moreover, Usec. Divinigracia was able to share his wisdom in his talk about “Anti-Red Tape=Bottleneck”. He presented an effective medium or committee that holds expertise on anti-red tape which is Arta’s Initiative for Good Governance which is the purpose is to cater to complaints if government officials violate rules and regulations on the said subject. The speaker was able to interact with the attendees which makes his talk more active and engaging.

To make the event more engaging and proactive, the organizers added a plenary session where the delegates or attendees can interact with one another. In the session, they were able to engage in a topic about leadership’s contributions to good governance,

principles of leadership, and the conception of convincing people, and shared some greatest challenges.

The summit was not filled only by the great wisdom of the speakers but also with the active participation of the attendees in some question and answer part of the program that talks about the youth in the emergence of misinformation, activism, and political dynasty and good governance. This remarks the great answers of the speaker, highlighting Usec. Gerald Divinagracia, “If the dynasty favors the family that’s where you should draw the line. It is all about the leader, giving a chance.”

As the summit concluded, the event was filled with lots of wisdom in each advice from the notable guests, firstly with Mayor Benjamin Magalong leaving an amazing statement that “Starts slow, slow beginning for bigger responsibilities and be an activist in a right sense and very constructively, be part of the solution."

Mr. Jess Lorenzo also gave his notable remarks as he said “Know the dynamics between power, performance, and accountability. And be a great speaker, be an inspiration”.

The event was a manifestation of a mix of advocacy, leadership inspiration, and wisdom from different perspectives. That is how a summit should be, empowering everyone in the corners of the venue who hears the voices of a leader.
